Imli Chutney

Ingredients Quantity
Dried Imli 200 gms
Dates 20 gms
Jaggery 150 gms
Red Chilly dried 20 gms
Black Salt 5 gms

Method:

  1. Wash the tamarind and dates and add it to a pan. Pour enough water and put it for boil. Add jaggery, red chilly and salt and let it simmer. Keep stirring in between. After 20 minutes strain it and cool it down before serving.
  2. Tip- Green Cardamom and jeera seeds are optional and can be used to impart additional flavour.
